Las Teresitas
The island's most famous beach, near the capital of Santa Cruz, stands out for its golden beach sand, which is brought from the Sahara Desert. The presence of water barriers weakens the wave strength, making it ideal for families with children. There are many small restaurants near the beach.

It is considered to be the most beautiful beach in the north of Tenerife. The beach is divided into three areas. The area of Playa Castillo is dominated by coarse sand and with many small pebbles. In the other, smallest part of El Charcón, there are fewer stones but more privacy. The Punta Brava part is dominated by fine black sand. The sands of Playa Jardín are a paradise for young children. The beach is equipped with a pier to protect it from the waves, so the coast is safe for swimming and relaxation for families.
